Blessed Birthday!!

My favorite way to spend my
birthday is being with
those I love.
I treasure the love and effort
my husband and girls put into treating
me extra special.
This morning I was surprise by my family
rushing into my room with birthday cheers.
They decorated the house with balloons,
streamers and banner.
It was quite the party!!
(we even played games)

Fame
The first gift I opened was
the new Fame CD.
We were dancing like crazy.
This picture was taken right when
the song says:
Fame...
We are going to see it Friday.
Can't wait!!

As for the rest of my birthday, FABULOUS!!
My day was full of family and friends,Josh
took a half day, surprise coffee and treat
with birthday song from Stephanie and
the boys, breakfast at Liberty Market
(free on birthday)with Josh,
birthday messages, free time to myself
(loved it), lunch at Joe's grill
(free on birthday)with my family,
Andy, Sis-ta and Taylor. I also
got a cat nap and went to dinner at Kona
Grill with Vicki and Ellie.
Thank you for making my day so blessed.
I guess this birthday was,
see how much you can eat day with
some of my favorite people.
YUM!

Happy Grandparent's Day

To Our Dear Grandparents,
Grandparents are special people
with wisdom and pride.
They are always offering love and kindness
and are always there to guide.
They often make you feel so
confident and strong.
Their arms are always open
no matter what you did wrong.
They try to help out in every way
that they can.
They love grandchildren the same
whether you're a child, woman or man.
They are always there to listen
and to lend a helping hand.
They show you respect
and they try to understand.
They give their love, devotion and so much more,
that's easy to see.
Grandparents, what perfect examples
of the kind of person that we should be.
-By Stacy Smith

From My Kitchen to Yours

Hello family, friends and fellow bloggers. Whether your cooking for fun, for your family or just want to eat something good come join my kitchen. It's not quiet here, it can be messy, and there is usually a lot going on, but it's one of my favorite places.
I would like to share it with you. So turn on some music, wash your hands, and grab the first monthly recipe from my kitchen.

Stuffed Mushrooms
Recipe 411: These mushrooms are amazing. I remember when I was a little girl my mom would make them when she had parties. I would watch them brown in the oven and was the first to snatch one. I had to be excused from the kitchen because after my hands got on them there wasn't much left for the guests. Now we know to DOUBLE the recipe if you want one for yourself. Look out for little swipers.
24 medium mushrooms/cut out centers
1 package Hot Jimmy Dean sausage(the best!)
1 package 8oz cream cheese, softened
Brown sausage until crumbled/drain.
To clean mushrooms, wipe down with
a wet paper towel.
Mix drained sausage with cream cheese.
Stuff the mushrooms, arrange on a cookie
sheet, refrigerate for 2 or more hours
Preheat oven to 350'
Cook 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned

A Summer to Remember

This summer has left a print on our lives.
We spent it the best way we could, together.
Kylie was nominated to go to a National Youth Conference in Washington DC for her academics and character(Christ like).

We spent time with new friends, explored our country's history and made family memories.(fire flies)

We took the train to NYC.(we were there for Syd's birthday)Road the Double Decker Bus(highly recommend), horse carriage through Central Park, and experienced the city.

At home we spent a hot day inside bowling.

Dad rocks!!

We spent time at our pool with loved ones.

We took a road trip Slurpee Style!!

This summer vacation went by way to fast but....

It will not be forgotten!

Sydnie is in 4th grade.
The girls were so exited for school.
Seeing old friends, making new friends, and
wearing a cute first day of school outfit.
They attend different schools this year.
Sydnie was excepted into an excelled program at a new school.
Kylie wanted to start junior high at the school she had attended last year.
Josh and I are so proud of our beautiful girls.
