Nay Nay's
Nay Nay's has opened her
arms and "toes" for customers.
After having such a
successful fundraiser
for Kylie we have decided
to try to sell our cute
flip flops to all who
love them.
We attended our first
boutique and did well.
In addition to selling
flip flops we sold decorated
journals and gloves with
bows and bling on them.
We will be in a boutique
this Saturday Nov 14th.
We are hoping to have a
blog set up sometime
soon for you all to see our goodies.
lately this is where she has been.

Fall Break
Huntington Beach, CA
We enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
We take our girls to the beach and share "strips and cheese"
(there exactly the same as when we were kids).
We love to go to Disneyland BUT our girls(and Josh) wanted to do "BIG" SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN. The price was right so we went. WOW!!! GOLIATH!!! Have you been??? I think my stomach is still there.
The girls loved it almost as much as Josh.

From My Kitchen to Yours
Recipe 411:
Fall is my favorite time to eat. The sweet and spice of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and can't forget the pumpkin. The smell is delicious. This recipe was given to me by my old neighbor. Instantly it became a family favorite that is baked in my home all of October and November. There is quite a bit of ingredients but it won't disappoint. The homemade icing takes them from good to OH SOOO GOOD. I hope you and your family enjoy these as much as we do.
Pumpkin Spice Cookies
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Butter
2 Cups Pumpkin Pie Filling
2 Eggs
5 Cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
4 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
Bit of Cloves
Shake of Pumpkin Pie Seasoning
2 tsp Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350
Combine first 5 ingredients. In separate bowl combine next 8 ingredients. Mix ingredients from both bowls together. Add the vanilla and stir. Drop teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack and frost immediately.
Frosting
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
5 TB Milk
1tsp Vanilla
1 Box Powdered Sugar
Combine first three ingredients.
Slowly stir in sugar until desired consistency.

Happy Grandparent's Day
To Our Dear Grandparents,
Grandparents are special people
with wisdom and pride.
They are always offering love and kindness
and are always there to guide.
They often make you feel so
confident and strong.
Their arms are always open
no matter what you did wrong.
They try to help out in every way
that they can.
They love grandchildren the same
whether you're a child, woman or man.
They are always there to listen
and to lend a helping hand.
They show you respect
and they try to understand.
They give their love, devotion and so much more,
that's easy to see.
Grandparents, what perfect examples
of the kind of person that we should be.
